Amazon Ain't Just a River in South America

Knowing that Amazon often lists books long before they are released, I went one better than Googling myself: I looked for my name on Amazon. While I am not the author of Tactical Reconnaissance in the Cold War or even The losers guide to (you call this a) life [sic], I did find the page you see above.

You can see it for yourself by clicking here.

You won't see a cover image because the design has not yet been finalized. Neither has the subtitle, which for now is a good thing. More thoughts on this to come. Today all I can say is, "cool."

Cool indeed! So we can preorder a copy? You're getting rid of that subtitle, right?

Can't wait to see it with the cover. You must be very excited.

Hey Doug,

Congrats on the book, can't wait to buy it.

Just wanted to let you know, I tried to use Norman Landsberg because you so highly recommended their store. It was some of the worst treatment I've ever had. Did it change hands between then and now?

I have no idea. What happened?

Shot them an email about a piece because it's about that time for me and mine. Response was to look elsewhere for a price war. Huh? I just wanted a baseline so I knew if traveling from Maryland to New York was worth my time, ya know? Only after I explained that I had found their store by word of mouth did they offer to tell me what I wanted to know.
