The invitations went out one week ago today and as of yesterday L's mom had received 14 response cards with 13 of them containing affirmative responses. That makes our current guest count 25, I believe. The mail being what it is, all the responses were from people in the Chicago area. East Coast responses - including mine - should start reaching L's parents' by tomorrow.

Whoa... Early send date on those invites! What made you guys decide to send them out more than 2 months in advance? Just curious because we're trying to figure out our "must send by" date... I think we were planning on 8 weeks for out of towners and 6 weeks for local folks...
Because of the schedule at camp and how busy L's parents get once the season starts for the summer it made sense to get them out before things got too crazy. Eight weeks is about right, but I'd recommend sending them all out at once to local and out of towners, too.
Since you're having an out of town wedding, your send date is good...Plus, it's summer time and people have vacations to plan...
Almost all of my responses are coming back "YES"! Hope I don't go over the max allowed at the hall!!
Eleven days to go and I *still* have three or four parties who have not RSVP'd. They've been called, and will be called again.... it seems so.... simple.....
we've hit a wall -- sent out the invites on june 1, received a few back a day for many days - have heard from just less than half the guests and now none for a while. . .it's sad. . .i want MORE responses!
