Baby It's Cold Outside

It's so cold here in New York that the thermometer outside my window now gives the temperature in degrees Kelvin. With an arctic chill hanging over the Northeast, L and I booked airplane tickets for travel at the end of this month. And where are we going? Chicago and Milwaukee for round one of our wedding planning. We'll be meeting a caterer, florist, two cake bakers and L will be meeting with a potential hairstylist. Nothing like trotting around the midwest in the dead of winter. But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. When we come back to New York, it will probably seem like we're in the tropics.

One recommendation, if I might. Agnes at Charles Ifergan Salon (Chicago) is fabulous. She's been doing my hair for years.

You forgot to mention that you will be warmed by the wonderful glow of your future neice and nephew!! We have already staked out some great sledding hills too. Can't wait to see you :-)

Twelve bucks at Astor Place and I'm usually good to go. Although there is a new place I'm trying out. Stay tuned for a future post.

Well, last week when it was sooooooooo cold in NY, it was a balmy 32 in Chicago!!! We easly could have packed more into the weekend, but L. said enough! If you wish to have your hair done as well, I can easly make an apt. for you around the same time as L's.
I really Love you both
